Graduate School Day of Service: Hope House in Port Jefferson

The Graduate School and the Center for Service Learning and Community Service (Career Center) are collaborating to create community service opportunities for Stony Brook University graduate students. We will be hosting a Graduate School Day of Service on Saturday, October 24 with a variety of projects for graduate students to participate in.

Hope House | 10 am to 1 pm | Hope House in Port Jefferson
Location and Transportation: Pax Christi Hospitality Center in Port Jefferson, LIRR Paid for by Graduate School. If you would like to drive yourself and meet at the location, please email ElizabethAnn.Moon@stonybrook.edu to confirm. 
Project: Serving lunch at the Hope House emergency shelter location in Port Jefferson. Students should plan to arrive to the Hope House by 10 am. 

Please note: We will be hosting a kick-off breakfast on campus from 12 pm to 1 pm, since The Hope House project in Port Jefferson will run from 10 am to 1 pm, students are welcomed to join us back on campus after the project for bagels in SAC Room 228.
